In kulmbach there will be cinema entertainment again, but with distance

On 1. July is curtains up again for new films at the cineplex kulmbach. A specially developed hygiene concept and the requirements of the state government place the safety of guests and employees in the foreground.

Under special conditions of distance and hygiene, the cinema, which has been closed since the middle of march, will open on 1 march. July resumed – temporarily, however, with limited opening hours. There will be daily evening screenings and an additional family program on weekend afternoons.

Strict conditions

For a safe cinema experience, the cineplex has developed a hygiene concept, and the house must comply with strict requirements. A minimum distance of 1.50 meters is to be guaranteed between members of foreign households. In the sals, rows and squares between the booked squares will be closed for it.

All employees and visitors must wear a mouth-nose protection – this may only be taken off at the place for eating and drinking. The cineplex kulmbach has to keep visitor lists and recommends online booking for simple, data-protection-compliant recording of data. The entrance control can be carried out contactless with a ticket scanner. Between performances, door handles, handrails, surfaces and sanitary facilities will be disinfected, and hand sanitizer will be available to all patrons.

Two weeks later than allowed

While cinemas throughout bavaria will be open to the public from 15. Cineplex in kulmbach opens the sale later than the movie theater was allowed to resume operations in june. Managing director michael thomas explains the step with the strong restrictions by the bavarian state government and the lack of current films.

"We have been waiting very much to reopen, but under the current circumstances we will lose even more money if we restart the operation now. So, with a heavy heart, we decided to wait until the beginning of july." Then at least the film offer will be a little more coarse. Thomas also hopes that the regulations will be relaxed to such an extent that we will be able to reopen the cinema with a justifiable economic risk."

Three new films

July sees the launch of the action thriller "tenet," among others by christopher nolan, the long-awaited remake of walt disney’s "mulan and the animated comedy "spongebob spongebob: a sponge-tastic rescue".
